Costa is Australia's leading grower, packer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables. Costa supplies quality fruits and vegetables to all the major Australia supermarket chains as well as independent grocers and food industry stakeholders.

Costa’s Wholesale and Logistics Division operates wholesale produce market sales, providoring and supply chain functions, with temperature-controlled facilities and operations in most states servicing the needs of our Costa Categories as well as retail, FMCG and foodservice customers.

Costa’s Secondary Wholesale Team includes two well-established Perth-based businesses: Select Fresh and Membrillo.

About the Role

As a Costa Fresh Produce Merchandiser, you’ll be working with our secondary wholesale team, representing our Membrillo brand in-store, ensuring products are attractively displayed, accurately priced and sold at peak freshness. You’ll collaborate closely with our operational and sales teams to enhance product visibility, uphold quality standards and drive commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high-impact, fresh produce displays that drive sales.
• Rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Implement promotional campaigns.
• Monitor product quality, shelf presentation and pricing accuracy.
• Support store teams with product knowledge and merchandising guidance.
• Build strong relationships with store managers and their staff.
• Represent Costa as a brand ambassador.
• Report on store visits, customer feedback and merchandising and sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure timely stock delivery.

What You’ll Bring

• A passion for fresh produce.
• Experience in fresh produce, FMCG or retail merchandising.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A keen eye for detail and presentation.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 20 kilograms.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Comfortable with frequent driving between store locations.
• Occasional work in refrigerated environments.
