WHS Manager SA - Vertical Farming

Costa Mushrooms based at Monarto, is the largest mushroom farm and most modern mushroom cultivation facility in Australia. Spread over 360 acres of land, the purpose-built facility grows premium mushrooms that are then marketed around Australia. About the opportunity
Working collaboratively with senior leadership you will develop, drive & monitor WHS strategies, policies & plans to optimise the safe performance of our people. You will target best practice levels of safety and legislative compliance in an environment of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Implementing and driving the Vertical Farming WHS Strategic Plan and Key Safety Performance Indicators
- Partner and coach the local Managers in understanding and achieving their Key Safety Performance Indicators
- Lead a program of internal audits & provide technical guidance to drive resolution of risks identified.
- Work with leaders throughout the workers compensation process to the return to Pre Injury Duties.
- Analyse risk data and produce reports for management teams
- Implement Health and Wellbeing initiatives.
About you
You are a passionate and experienced WHS Manager that is suitably qualified and will bring the following to the role:
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and Standards relevant to the role.
- Strong leadership skills including the demonstration of positive influencing skills and change management experience.
- Demonstrate integrity and exceptional commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity
- An understanding and respect for differing cultural and social needs
