Warehouse Team Leader

About the opportunity

The Team Leader Warehouse (Morning Shift) focuses on the supervision & support of the Warehouse team and ensures the daily functions are managed and completed to deadlines.

 

About you

You will be a natural people leader that is approachable and supportive and have demonstrated ability in prioritising competing tasks within a fast-paced environment.  You will be an open communicator and will have the drive and determination to meet timeframes while supporting employees to adhere to hygienic practices & product flow. Some of the responsibilities on shift will be to:

• Supervise & direct the daily operations of the Warehouse areas to support the delivery of speed to fridge
• Provide daily operational plans that meet the requirements of internal and external customers
• Resolve daily workflow issues ensuring efficient running of lines
• Maintain responsibility for product mix and quality allocation
• Ensure correct storage and rotation of product
• Ensure accurate & efficient order assembly
• Ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained
• Assist in managing performance and development team members
• Maintain compliance with all Company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance at all times with Food Safety and Quality requirements

   

   

You will bring:

• Experience in a leadership position ideally in food production
• Excellent communication
• High levels of attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise competing tasks
• Commitment to Health, Safety and Quality policies and procedures
• High Risk (Forklift) licence (preferred)

Please note must be available to work across the hours consistent of Warehouse Morning Shifts for coverage. Some weekend & Public Holiday work will be required as part of ongoing rosters.
