 The Citrus category of Costa, based in the Riverland of South Australia, represents one of the largest fresh diversified citrus growing, packing & marketing operations in the Southern Hemisphere with over 2100ha of citrus plantings.

 Located in the town of Renmark, South Australia, the purpose of this new role is to coordinate the citrus category’s Seasonal Worker Program for the Company’s farm assets in the greater Renmark area.

 This diverse and challenging role has accountability for coordinating the recruitment of seasonal labour for harvest, including labour from the Pacific Islands, travel arrangement coordination, employee welfare services, management of on farm accommodation matters, attending to employee relations issues, induction and training and also liaison and engagement with contractors on harvest recruitment. Further responsibilities across workplace health and safety include supporting the sites with identification and control of WHS issues, incident investigation support and assisting with injury management and system documentation.

 This position will suit someone who enjoys role diversity and who can manage and work confidently with a large employee group sourced from a range of diverse cultural backgrounds.

 The successful applicant will have demonstrated leadership and resource coordination experience in a previous role. Good communication, relationship building and influencing skills are essential as is a level of flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.  Experience with workplace health and safety initiatives is advantageous as it will become an integral part of the role.
