About the Role

This customer-focused role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong administrative and communication skills.

Based at our Distribution Centre in East Devonport, you’ll work closely with and support the National Recruitment team, which is based at our Corindi farm on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. 

This is a dynamic, customer-facing role where you will play an important part in supporting candidates and employees throughout their recruitment and onboarding journey. As one of the first points of contact for many people joining Costa, you'll help create a welcoming, professional and positive experience from initial enquiry through to commencement and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Provide professional support to candidates and employees via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Assist with recruitment, application processing, onboarding, and employee support.
• Maintain accurate employee records and workforce data.
• Support farm operations with seasonal workforce requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while handling sensitive information confidentially.
• Assist with managing visa details, work rights, crew transfers and employee exits.
• Handle sensitive employee information with professionalism, confidentiality and care.
• Work closely with the National Recruitment team to help ensure seasonal workforce requirements are met.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering a positive customer experience.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn new recruitment and workforce management systems.
• A positive, adaptable, and team-focused approach.
• Flexibility to work over the Christmas and New Year period.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including early starts and increased hours during peak harvest periods. 

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in recruitment, administration, customer service, or similar people-focused experience.
• Certificate III in Business Administration (or similar).
• Knowledge of Northern Tasmania and the local community.
