About the Role

We are currently recruiting Casual Pack Shed Team Members to join our Berry Farm located near Corindi Beach, NSW.

This is a varied role where you may work across both our Packing and Dispatch teams, depending on operational requirements. Flexibility is essential, as tasks may vary daily and throughout the season.

The role operates across a 7-day roster, with shifts determined by production volumes, customer demand, and weather conditions.

Responsibilities may include:

Packing Operations

  • Packing fresh berries in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Sorting and grading fruit to meet quality standards.
  • Conducting quality checks and removing damaged fruit.
  • Maintaining productivity while ensuring quality requirements are met.
  • Working in a cool room environment (approximately 10°C).

Dispatch Operations

  • Preparing and fulfilling customer orders for dispatch.
  • Accurately labelling and documenting outgoing orders.
  • Conducting final quality checks before products are dispatched.
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock control.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe dispatch area.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely order completion.
  • Machine operating

You may also be required to undertake other Farm Worker duties as needed across the operation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different tasks, departments, and shift patterns.
  • The ability to work productively in a cool environment (approximately 10°C).
  • Basic computer skills and confidence using technology.
  • Good judgement, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
  • The physical ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move boxes of fruit.
  • Own reliable transport

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

  • Previous packing, dispatch, warehouse, logistics, or production experience.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Forklift Licence
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
