Maintenance Fitter - Vertical Farming

About you:

We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter that enjoys early mornings and can work 05.00am – 13.00pm for 5 days per week over a 7-day rotating roster (Some weekends will be required)

As a highly motivated individual you will have the ability to work both as part of a team as well as autonomously. You will love working in a face paced environment where no two days are the same and have a customer first approach. Your positive a can do attitude and will be able to demonstrate a history of strong fault-finding.  You will also have:

• Trade qualification or higher
• Demonstrated prior industrial maintenance experience
• Current C Class Drivers Licence

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to 'hit the ground running' as part of a small and supportive team at our category leading Mushroom growing facility. Servicing an industry leading & start-of-the-art facility in production and agricultural practices the operations run 52 weeks of the year, 7 days of the week. Based at Monarto 40 minutes up the freeway & reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, key responsibilities include a proactive approach to programmed maintenance, daily repairs to plant and machinery & key involvement in identifying process improvement.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing new project improvements
• Ensuring appropriate spares & stock levels are maintained
• Collaborative teamwork to maintain minimal downtime of facility production
• Compliance with OHS&E policy & procedures throughout day-to-day activity
