Maintenance Electrician - Vertical Farming

About you

You will be a highly motivated individual with an ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously. You will have a customer first approach and will love working in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same.  Your positive can do attitude will be evident and you will be able to demonstrate a history of strong fault-finding.  You will also have:

• Trade qualification or higher
• Current C Class Drivers Licence

About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to 'hit the ground running' as part of a small and supportive team at our category leading Mushroom growing facility. Servicing an industry leading & state-of-the-art facility in production and agricultural practices, the operations run 52 weeks of the year, 7 days of the week.

Based at Monarto 40 minutes up the freeway & reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will undertake maintenance, diagnosis, repair and modification of industrial electrical equipment and other industrial plant machinery.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance programs and ensure that all maintenance records are filed.
• Compliance with OHS&E policy & procedures throughout day to day activity

Weekend work and public holidays may be required. Call outs and out of hours work may also be required from time to time.
