About the opportunities
We are looking for hardworking, team oriented, dedicated individuals who can commit to shifts on a regular basis.
You will need a good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of manual labour, including regular lifting, moving heavy equipment, and working in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks, as these are part of daily operations.
We are recruiting for the following casual opportunities:
Compost Worker - Assist in the safe production of mushroom compost. Duties include unloading, dunking and stacking straw bales, watering bales, and pre-mixing manure and raw ingredients as instructed.
- Loader or forklift experience is highly advantageous
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
- Approx. 8-hour shifts starting at 5am or 12pm
Outdoor Machine Operator - Operate heavy machinery to fill our mushroom growing rooms with compost produced onsite. This is a highly physical role with plenty of hands-on activity.
- Similar machine operator experience or a forklift licence is highly regarded
- No formal experience required—full training provided
- Shifts commence between 5am and 8am
