About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Tasmanian operations.

You’ll be part of a dedicated and collaborative national HR team, with a strong focus on regional partnership and proactive people strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day, practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management and people risk
  • Lead early intervention in ER/IR matters to ensure timely, fair and commercially sound outcomes
  • Provide guidance on employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and Costa policies
  • Play a key role in preparation for and support of enterprise agreement negotiations and workforce consultation
  • Maintain strong focus on compliance, audit readiness and employment framework adherence
  • Facilitate our supervisor development program
  • Embedding group policies and supporting continuous HR process improvements across the regions

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • At least 5 years of HR experience, ideally in a geographically dispersed or operational business
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and ER/IR best practice
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with leaders and teams on site
  • A proactive and values led approach
  • Excited by the opportunity to support and shape new initiatives, using innovative thinking to continuously improve how we engage and support our people
  • High personal accountability and sound judgement
  • Experience with behavioural tools would be advantageous but not essential
  • Willingness to travel within Tasmania as required
