Group Financial Accountant

This position offers an opportunity for an ambitious and career minded individual wanting to be a key member of the Corporate Finance team as well as the wider Group finance structure.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the preparation of the Group’s consolidated financial statements
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly Business Support Cost Centres profit and loss, cash flow and forecasts
  • Responsible for preparation of annual Business Support Cost Centres budgets
  • Assist in managing the Group’s audit process and statutory reporting requirements
Skills and Experience:


Technical Finance

  • Strong technical ASX listed reporting and consolidation experience
  • Preparation of the Group’s consolidated financial statements including all notes and disclosures in compliance with IFRS
  • Assist the Group financial reporting manager in managing the group’s external audit – work with the external auditors to ensure the audit process is conducted in a timely and efficient manner

Management reporting and analysis

  • Managing financial reporting and analysis for the Business Support division – preparation of monthly reporting pack, annual budgets, CAPEX and cash flow
  • Assist in the preparation of the Group’s internal management reports including monthly consolidation and weekly scorecards
  • Manage intercompany processes

Other matters

  • Assists with reviewing and improving internal finance policies
  • Assist with any ad hoc tasks as required by the CFO and deputy CFO

Education and Qualifications

  • CPA/CA qualified
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in financial reporting of a large ASX listed company
  • A desire to learn and develop
