Finance and Administration Lead

We are looking for a passionate Finance & Administration Lead to join our compassionate team on a full-time basis in Emerald, QLD.
About the role:
- Manage end-to-end process of the stock process. This includes managing raising of purchase order through to to assisting with scheduling and processing of stock-takes and investigate any identified stock discrepancies.
- Maintain all (owned & leased vehicles) Fixed Asset Register
- Maintain strong and proactive relationships with business leaders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the design and development of business process improvements, emphasizing efficiency and effectiveness, this includes Office policies, procedures, processes and workflows
- Prepare monthly diesel fuel rebates and allocation of costs, ensuring data collection is accurate and reported
- Respond to accounts enquiries and investigate and/or escalate discrepancies to ensure accuracy of payments.
- Ensure invoice work cycle process is completed within operational timeframes.
- Ensure the timesheet process are completed with accuracy and within Operational timeframes.
- Ensure the weekly payroll process is completed by Operational timeframes, ensuring accurate data inputted with minimal errors.
- Manage current and future purchase order process (manual paper and system-based).
Who we are looking for:
- Finance and Accounting degree or currently working toward to completing the degree
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office, Excel and Word skills.
- SAP experience is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
