Farm Coordinator -FNQ
We’re seeking a proactive Farm Coordinator to join our FNQ operations. This is a full-time position, and as the Farm Coordinator, you will be primarily responsible for assisting the Operations Manager to manage all operational activities

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operations Manager in managing all operational activities, including service and repair of farm machinery.
- Supervise and direct small teams to complete key activities such as weeding, spraying, slashing, tunnel & netting operations, picking, planting, and pruning.
- Track productivity and labour, ensuring daily/weekly/project targets are met.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure adherence.
- Communicate with other departments regarding maintenance needs.
- Evaluate staff performance and employ performance management strategies.
- Uphold workplace health and safety, food safety, and quality standards.
- Lead by example and foster a culture of support and high performance.
About You
Experience:
- Welding skills.
- Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving ability.
- Irrigation repairs and maintenance
- Basic experience with irrigation hydraulics systems
- Netafim experience (desired)
- Managing small budgets (desired)
- Small project
management (desired)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in people and performance management of staff.
- Ability to work semi-autonomously, managing groups of people.
- Experience supervising teams and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Qualifications:
- First Aid
- Drivers License
- Fitter and Turner or similar trade experience (desired)
- Forklift License (desired)
- Chem Cert (desired)
