We have an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified Electrician to join our growing team at our state-of-the-art Mushroom farm, based in Monarto, South Australia.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for daily Electrical maintenance and repair activities for our site which produces a large volume of quality mushrooms, 365 days of the year. To consistently meet our targets, we need to ensure that routine electrical maintenance activities are well planned and managed amongst other day to day requirements that may include fault finding, addressing breakdowns and ensuring that the facility is running at optimal capacity at all times.
This role will provide an additional resources for the site's Electrical team, which forms part of the bigger site Maintenance team. This role is responsible for ensuring that equipment used on site is safe, meets Electrical Safety standards and is fit for purpose. This includes maintaining the regular testing and tagging process, inspecting and repairing plant and equipment. The ability to build strong relationships with employees, contractors and the rest of the team is essential.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong focus on Safety and a willingness to abide by the sites safety standards. The ability to think fast and outside the box to find solutions will ensure our ongoing success.
It is essential that you have a class A Electrical License, with experience in a relevant industry along with a strong understanding of Australian Electrical Standard and required regulatory documentation.
Please note weekend work and public holidays may be required due to the 24hour / 7 day nature of our worksite. Call outs and out of hours work may also be required from time to time depending on the agreed roster arrangements that will provide excellent work-life balance.
