Data & Insights Lead
We’re looking for a skilled data analyst to join the Berry International team in the role of Data & Insights Lead, supporting decision‑making across our global operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex datasets, partnering with stakeholders, and creating high‑impact dashboards and insights that influence financial, operational and horticultural outcomes.

About the Role
As our Data & Insights Lead, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across multiple regions to gather requirements and deliver accurate, insightful analysis. You’ll extract, cleanse and model data from SAP, Power BI, Excel and other platforms, and create dashboards and reporting solutions that support financial performance, operational efficiency and horticultural optimisation.
You will also play a key role in improving data processes, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, and recommending analytical approaches to help the business better understand key drivers and trends.
This role is located in Coffs Harbour, NSW.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse financial, operational and horticultural data to support decision‑making.
- Extract, validate and transform data from SAP, Power BI datasets, Excel and other systems.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Conduct variance, trend and performance analysis across global operations.
- Engage with stakeholders across different regions to understand reporting needs and clarify analytical briefs.
- Present insights in a clear, compelling way tailored to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Improve data quality, streamline reporting processes and recommend new analytical methods.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in data analysis, reporting or business intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel (including modelling and visualisation).
- Experience working with SAP or other large enterprise systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to translate business questions into structured analytical approaches.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with stakeholders globally.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
- Training or demonstrated competence in Power BI and Microsoft Excel
Desirable:
- Training or certification in SAP reporting or data extraction tools.
- Additional accreditation in data analytics, data modelling or business intelligence tools
- Exposure to horticulture, agriculture or supply chain environments.
