Casual Packhouse Quality Control Officers (QCs) - Renmark, SA

Costa’s Citrus operations in Riverland, South Australia, are seeking individuals to join our team as Casual Packhouse Quality Control Officer for our citrus harvest. We have an immediate start opportunity available at our site in Renmark, South Australia.

We’re seeking reliable, detail-oriented team members to help us deliver top-quality citrus fruit to domestic and international markets. Perfect for those wanting hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment and are keen to contribute to one of Australia’s largest citrus operations..

About the Role

As a Quality Control Officer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out inspections and quality checks on citrus fruit during and after packing
• Accurately completing electronic or paper-based QA records
• Monitoring production processes and escalating any issues
• Working closely with Supervisors and Packing teams to maintain food safety standards
• Supporting with general packing or sorting tasks as required during quieter periods

What We’re Looking For:

• Good attention to detail and observation skills
• Clear communication and ability to follow procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced packing environment with variable hours
• Punctual, reliable, and able to commit to consistent work during the harvest period
• Prior experience in packing or quality control is an advantage but not essential

Applicants must have a Driver’s licence and their own transport to and from the farm and have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
