What we are looking for:

We are looking for an Accommodation & Recruitment Manager to join Costa's Pacific Labour Acquisition team. This unique role combines large-scale workforce mobilisation, stakeholder engagement and accommodation coordination to support Costa's PALM Scheme program across multiple business units nationally. The role has responsibility for both the end-to-end delivery of PALM Scheme recruitment activities and the coordination of accommodation strategies that support worker wellbeing, compliance and operational success. This role is Melbourne-based in our modern Docklands office working on a 4/1 hybrid working arrangement.

This is not a traditional recruitment role. While recruitment and mobilisation form a significant part of the position, success will largely depend on your ability to coordinate complex projects, manage competing stakeholder priorities and navigate commercial and compliance-related accommodation matters. You'll work closely with internal teams including Legal, Procurement, Finance, Payroll, Operations and Site Leadership, while also engaging with government agencies, Labour Sending Units and external providers across Australia and the Pacific.

A major component of this role is travel. During peak recruitment periods, you'll travel throughout the Pacific to support in-country recruitment campaigns, candidate selection activities and mobilisation planning. You can expect to take up to eight trips per year overseas, generally for around a week at a time, along with regular domestic travel to Costa sites across Australia to review accommodation facilities, support mobilisation activities and work closely with operational teams. Because of this, we are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys travel and has the ability to travel regularly for work, as well as enjoying building relationships and working hands-on in the field.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with strong commercial and project management capability who understands concepts such as lease agreements, pricing models, contract management, compliance requirements and vendor relationships. Experience within accommodation management, facilities, property, recruitment, workforce planning, operations or highly regulated environments would all be highly regarded. Most importantly, you'll be highly organised, commercially minded and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from site teams through to government representatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage accommodation compliance, lease arrangements, pricing and approval processes across Costa sites.
  • Conduct accommodation inspections and site visits while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end PALM Scheme recruitment and mobilisation programs across multiple countries and Costa operations.
  • Build strong relationships with Labour Sending Units, government agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate workforce planning, approvals and mobilisation activities to meet seasonal labour demand.
  • Travel regularly throughout Australia and the Pacific to support recruitment, mobilisation and accommodation activities.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong project management, stakeholder management or operational coordination experience.
  • Experience managing commercial agreements, leases, contracts, pricing or vendor relationships.
  • The ability to influence and build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working within compliance-driven, highly regulated or operational environments.
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake frequent domestic and international travel.
