Irrigation Supervisor - Corindi

We are currently seeking Supervisor to join our Irrigation and Establishment teams

We have supervisor roles available which we will encourage your ability to inspire, coach and lead to ensure that the crew is able to reach their full potential whilst sharing in their success and enjoying each working day.
About the role:
The ideal candidate will be motivated, hands on and able to work under pressure. This position will suit an individual with a mechanical aptitude or a background in Horticulture/agriculture.
- Organise and supervise irrigation team on a day-to-day basis
- Assist in monitoring and managing the performance of irrigation team members in collaboration with and as directed by your line manager
- Monitor plant water use and manage irrigation scheduling to meet targets
- Ensure optimal operation of irrigation systems through regular monitoring and maintenance
- Manage fertiliser stocks, maintain fertiliser mixing and dosing equipment
- Scout blocks for irrigation and plant health issues; spot fix and report major issues to the Irrigation Coordinator/Irrigation Manager
- Complete maintenance schedule and all other administrative tasks involved with the maintenance of the irrigation system in a timely manner
- Other duties as required and/or directed

- Previous experience leading a team
- Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle
- Agricultural/horticultural experience is desired
- Forklift (desirable)
- Chemcert (desired)
- Previous experience in a supervisory role.
