Business Administration Trainee Officer (Finance)
Costa has an opportunity for a local resident to join the team in our 2PH business in Emerald as a Business Administration Trainee Officer.
The Business Administration Trainee will provide essential support to the administrative team, assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning across departments. This role is designed for someone looking to start their career in administration, with training and mentorship provided by experienced team members, whilst gaining a Certificate III in Business Administration.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assist in managing office communications, including answering phone calls, handling emails, and coordinating meetings;
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and documents as required;
- Organise and maintain digital and physical filing systems;
- Help with scheduling and coordinating team activities, meetings, and events;
- Support data entry, record keeping, and other routine administrative tasks;
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and task completion;
- Mail Sorting and Processing – each day sort all incoming mail and process outgoing mail;
- Completing all assignments on time to your training provider;
- Maintain Key Register; and
- Undertake other duties as assigned to gain broad exposure to various administrative functions.
- Ability to obtain a Certificate III in Business Administration;
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service;
- Medium level of computer literacy especially with MS Office suite with a sound knowledge of standard office equipment;
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and to implement time management principles to prioritise work and meet deadlines;
