Harvest Coordinator – Blackberries, Dunorlan TAS

As our team continues to grow, we're seeking a dynamic Harvest Coordinator to lead our harvest operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring a successful harvest season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead High-Performance Teams: Oversee and inspire teams to achieve peak performance in yield and quality, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
• Quality Assurance Champion: Uphold rigorous quality standards, implementing robust systems to deliver exceptional product consistency.
• Collaborative Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with horticulturalists and cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to food safety and quality assurance regulations.
• Administrative Proficiency: Efficiently manage administrative tasks, including payroll and reporting, to support seamless operations.

Skills and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field (desirable)
• Experience Guide:

- Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)

- Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)

• Problem-Solving: The ability to analyze information and identify solutions is crucial.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and basic computer programs like Excel and Word is required.
• Organization and Planning: The ability to plan tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines is crucial.
