Accounts Clerk

About the Role

Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller based in our Woolgoolga Office. Working within a small team, the Accounts Clerk will provide vital support to ensure that invoices are processed correctly, records are maintained accurately, and data is managed appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Management: Process, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain and update vendor data, ensuring accurate records.
• Cashflow & Bank Reconciliation: Assist with cashflow forecasting, prioritise urgent payments, and monitor overdue invoices.
• Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting systems and maintain organized records.
• Audit Support: Provide documentation and support during audits.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Skills: Accuracy, attention to detail, organisation, communication, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Education: Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping preferred.
• Experience: Prior exposure to basic accounting tasks is beneficial.
